Special Election in the 31st Council District – Feb. 19
Mayor Bloomberg has announced a Special Election to fill the vacancy in the 31st Council District in Queens. The seat was vacated by former Council Member James Sanders, Jr., who has accepted a seat in the New York State Senate. The non-partisan special election will be held on February 19, 2013 to elect a Council Member who will serve until December 31, 2013.
Candidate information will be available on WhosOnTheBallot.org once candidates have registered with the Board of Elections.
