NYC’s State and Local Primary Election is on September 13!

New York State and Local Primary Election – September 13th – Mark Your Calendars!

WhosOntheBallot.org is fully updated with information for the State and Local Primary Election, which will take place on Thursday, September 13, 2018. The congressional primaries may be over, but New York City still has more voting to do! And on Thursday, September 13th, registered voters can head to the polls in all five boroughs to cast their vote in the primaries for Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, State Senate, State Assembly and other local candidates.

If you are registered as a member of a party (i.e., Democratic, Republican, Conservative, Green, Independence Reform, Women’s Equality and Working Families) then you are eligible to vote in their primary. Click WhosOntheBallot and find out if you are eligible to vote in one of the party primaries. Then find out if there is a primary contest in your district. You can learn which candidates are on the ballot and with one click find out about these candidates. You can check your registration status and also confirm your polling location.

The General Election is on November 6, 2018. The last day to register for the General Election is on October 12, 2018. Mailed registrations must be postmarked by October 12 and received by October 17.
