“Ranked-Choice Voting: Coming to a Ballot Box Near You” CityLand Article by Ester Fuchs and Nicholas Stabile

New York City’s June 27, 2023 primary elections will be the second major test of ranked-choice voting (RCV). Rather than voting for one favored candidate to win the party nomination, voters will be asked to rank up to five candidates on the ballot in order of preference.

On March 8, 2021, WhosOntheBallot Director Ester Fuchs co-wrote a CityLand article with Nicholas Stabile to help explain RCV and how it will affect voting in NYC. The full article can be found HERE.
