One week left to register to vote in the General Election

This year’s General Election will be held on November 5, 2013. If you are not registered to vote in New York (check here if you’re not sure), you have one week left to do so. Check your voter registration status, make sure it contains the correct information, and register if you have not already done so.

Visit the New York City Board of Elections’ Registration page to download a registration form. Additionally, if you have a New York State driver’s license or DMV-issued nondriver’s identification card, visit New York’s MyDMV page to register to vote or update your registration on line.

Applications must be postmarked not later than October 11th and received by the county Board of Elections no later than October 16 to be eligible to vote in the General Election.

Drop off your application in person or send it by mail to the Board of Elections today!
