Mark your calendars with these important election-related dates.

September 6, 2018: Primary Election Absentee Ballot Application Deadline – last day to postmark application for state/local primary ballot

September 12, 2018: Primary Election Absentee Ballot Deadlines
Absentee Ballot in-person application deadline: Last day to apply in person for primary election absentee ballot.
Absentee Ballot return deadline -Last day to postmark state/local ballot. Must be received by the county board no later than Sept. 20th.

September 13, 2018: 6am – 9pm Primary Election Day 
Where: Your designated polling place. Polling Places open 6:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. 
If you are not sure of that location you can find you poll site location by:
1) Search with the Online Poll Site Address Locator 
2) Call the Voter Phone Bank at 1.866.VOTE.NYC
3) E-mail your complete home address to us at vote@boe.nyc.ny.us and we’ll e-mail your polling place location back to you. (Please put in the subject line the borough in which you reside.)

Absentee Ballot return deadline – In Person: Last day (election day) to deliver absentee ballot in person to the county board (by close of polls).

October 12, 2018: General Election Registration Deadline
Registration – By Mail:  Last day to postmark application for general election and last day it must be received by board of elections by Oct. 17.
Registration – In Person: Last day application must be received by board of election to be eligible to vote in general election.
Change of Party Enrollment – Last day change of party enrollment can be received.

October 17, 2018: Change of Address Deadline
Last day changes of address received by this date must be processed

October 30, 2018: General Election Absentee Voter Application Deadline
Last day to postmark application or letter of application for general election ballot.

November 5, 2018: Primary Election Absentee Ballot Deadlines
Absentee Ballot In-Person Application Deadline – Last day to apply in person for ballot for general election ballot
Absentee Ballot Return Deadline - Last day to postmark general election ballot. Must be received by the county board no later than Nov. 13th.
