In-Person Absentee Voting

It’s too late to apply for an absentee ballot by mail, but registered voters who cannot make it to their polling site on Election Day because of a number of acceptable reasons (including business, studies, travel, imprisonment if not a convicted felon, illness, disability, hospitalization, or residence in a long-term care facility) can still vote by absentee ballot in person.

Go to the BOE office in your borough and receive your absentee ballot immediately. In person absentee voting can be conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and on the weekend before Election Day. On Election Day in person absentee voting at BOE offices can be conducted until 9:00 p.m.
